Fear of Flying

The recent crash of the France air bus has given some people quiet a fright about flying.
"My heart starts beating so fast . . . it feels like it’s going to explode. My throat closes and I can’t breathe. I start to choke. My hands start sweating. I get so dizzy I have to hold onto the furniture or the wall to keep from falling or fainting…."
Unwarranted fear or inappropriate fear can create real trouble.
Fear is an important emotion to feel and as humans we have the instinctual “flight or fight”response (it’s our body's primitive automatic, built in response that prepares the body to "fight" or "flee" from perceived attack, threat or harm.
But inappropriate fear does not protect us at all.
Acrophobia or sometimes known as Vertigo is the name which is often given to this morbid fear of heights and the effects on people vary..
Holding on to fear from the past or phobias like flying, insects, clowns, any Long Term fear can negatively effect and impact on your body’s immune system.
There’s no use for it..
